...It reminds me that I have so much to be happy about, no matter what I have going on in my life. And that I have to make the choice to be happy instead of choosing to let those bad moods rule me. And keep choosing to be happy. Every day. Over and over again.
Unless you've been living under a rock since 2009, the term "Life Hack" is all over social media. Some are legitimate, some are... more work than the task you're trying to avoid. I'd like to share some of the life hacks I've come up with as a new mom.
So, I might have mentioned before that my day job is in banking. This by no means makes me any type of financial expert. Sometimes my bills get paid late, and I make impulse purchases a little more often than I'd like to admit. But, I've been working on ideas to beef up our savings
But in order to do that, I had to confront that swimsuit shoved in the back of my closet. I squeezed myself into my least despised tankini. I didn’t peek in the mirror right away. I didn’t want to look. I could already tell by the amount of trouble I had in putting on my suit that I was going to look like a busted can of biscuits. Finally though, I worked up the courage and caught a glimpse.
Let me start by scolding myself. I have GOT to get myself a better schedule to sit down and get my blogs written during the week. This night before business is so not working. I have tons of ideas, but I never sit down and hammer out a draft of any of those ideas. Shame
